What should I write here?!
I was reading a facebook interview that Naomi took and got a kick out of one answer she gave.
Q: If you fell off a cliff, what would you do?
A: Enjoy the ride down, and look forward to Heaven!
Yesterday we had a friend over for supper and then he went to church with us too. Martha got me to make supper and I put potatoes in the oven for baked potatoes and then upened up two jars of canned hamburger for hamburger gravy. Even though the potatoes were in the oven for over an hour they were still not all the way cooked. :'-( So we ate almost-all-the-way-cooked potatoes with hamburger gravy on top! It tasted good... You just couldn't mash the potatoes. Oh well.
The sermon was really good!
So that's what has been happening here. Beware when you come over for dinner, inquire if I'm gonna be the one cooking! :-)

Crazy things!
Ellie and I were talking about things that we did with our horses on our long ride (check out www.thepanhandleroughriders.blogspot.com), the one thing we were talking about was, when we were going through Kalispell leading our horses we came to a stop light. We were behind the guard rail, so we led the horses around the inside of the gaurd rail and ran, weaving through the cars, all the time hoping to get to the other side before the light turned green. I would NEVER do that, before or after our ride, on foot by myself. But I went and ran my horse through it! Some of the things we did! But when you have no other choice, you have no other choice! ::shivers::
I'll post some pictures Naomi took soon! BTW could you all please pray for her! She has pneumonia again. :-(

One of my favourite songs!
Here is a video of The Gaither Vocal Band and Ernie Haase and Signature Sound singing Holy Highway. I love this song!!! It's almost Jewish. Tell me what you think!
Yesterday Ruth (3) came into the room wearing a new dress Hannah had picked up for her a the SH store. It is kind of a fancy dress, and after we commented on it Ruth told us, "I'm going to wear this dress to my wedding!" We all laughed! Later on Naomi found Ruth running circles around our rocking horse. "What are you doing Ruthy?" "I'm doing exercising!", panted Ruth. She sees and hears us doing and talking about exercising so I guess she decided to start herself! :-)

Some laughter for your day!
Last night Jesse, Martha, and I were in the kitchen while I was eating a late suppper. Jesse was really tired, which equals, REALLY goofy! He was making up new words for the tune 'Nobody Loves Me". He started singing that he would take our pastor (Nevin), and move out to Wyoming and start a ranch, leaving all the girls here in Bonners Ferry. When Marty and I told him that Wyoming was high in crimes, so Jesse sang that he was going to get a rifle and a powder horn. And then the climax of the song was when he ended it by singing that he would take out Nevin's teeth (Nev DOESN'T have false teeth!) and he'd open them at the burglers and they'd all hightail it out o' there! The funniest part of the song was when Jesse ended it he dubbled over breathless with laughter!
Today Naomi gave me another banjo joke. It goes like this..... A little boy told his mother that when he grew up he wanted to be a banjo player. "Oh no son," his mother replied, " you either grow up or you become a banjo player."
Laughter is a gift from God himself! Where would this world be with out it?

A new blog staring....... MYSELF!
Hey ya'll!
Forgive me, I'm trying to remedy me self image problems. Or at least that's what Ellie says!!! LOL! She came up with the title too! :-) I was going to put 'starting......' , but she has to come up with this, and of course, I listen to her in everything! NOT! But I thought in this it wouldn't hurt! :-)
Okay so I'm starting my own blog. I hope to have a lot of fun on here, and I hope ya'll enjoy reading it! I'll try to keep it a bit more light hearted! I love a good laugh, at least a good laugh at someone else!!!! :grins:
So long for now,
Lydia
