I make hand-tied horse halters. They are strong (1200 lb breaking strength, stronger for work horses), and yet aren't bulky, so they are easy to pack for a extra on the trail. These are the only halters we have ever used and never have ever wanted to go with the regular halters, we also use them for hackamores. My price is $18 a halter.
