So here's some pictures either taken by me or one of my siblings.
This one's by Martha. She gets some really good pictures.
Someone asked for the recipe for
the rosettes so here it is.
2 eggs
1 Cup of Milk
1 Cup of Flour
1 TBS of Sugar
Beat together in a bowl with egg
beater. Strain to get out lumps. Put 2
lbs of lard in a pan and heat to 365* - 375* F. Heat iron in oil. Dip into
batter (3/4 of the way in) and then into the oil. It will come off the iron as
it fries. Turn it once and then place on paper towel and sprinkle with powered
sugar.
We froze them with out sugaring
them and then when we got them out we would pop them in the toaster on a low
setting and they tasted as good as fresh (almost :-D) .
Martha took this of the sheep. Ellie owns 18 ewes, and Martha owns 3.
Our horse herd is now down to 5.
A picture I love. This is Zayn,a horse I owned in Melville.
Also from Melville. Our run around car called Classy. Jesse and Zeke.
Martha has quite the eye for composition. Wow.
