Pictures again!

Day 22... Trees. Willows and Poplars.. Everything is rather brown right now.. but that has it's own beauty. 

Day 23... Sunset! I love sunsets! I just about froze going out in my shirt sleeves for this one. :-)

Day 24... A Smile. Well to me it looks like the black lamb is smiling. These are the two latest lambs, bringing the count up to 5, all ewes too! 

Day 25... Sunflare... Our front yard. 

Day 26... Something Old. The Grandma Cupboard is probably around 50 years old or older... and the chair was Dad's Grandma's... It's around the 100 year mark. 

Grad Day at NBC

Today was graduation day at Nipawin Bible College. Hannah is a second year graduate so she got to wear a gown , but not the hat. :-) She looks very pretty in her hand sewn green dress and a very pretty engagement ring! :-D They don't have a day set yet for the wedding, but it'll be soon. :-)
 Yesterday I took my beloved Coyote out for a ride. Other than him spooking and dumping me (he saw a moose a 1/4 of a mile away), I had a really good day! Today I'm stiff and sore. My fault for not riding as often as I should. I rode over to Wolfmueller's and had a really good visit with Gabi and her friend!

 As for something to show for the two days? Nothing! Not one single picture! Crazy me!
     Anyways I'm really tired and all from all day in the car, a late night and an early morning. :-)

Day #15... my shoes... I love these shoes!

Day #17, On the shelf.... My aloe Vera plant, Phoebe... Yes I named it!

Day # 16... What I ate... Peppermint tea sweetened with honey, a pint of fresh raw milk, and an apple with organic peanut butter on it. :-)

Day #20... What I read... I read my Bible this morning with the family at Bible time.

Day #21... A Pretty Pattern... Some Chocolate bars that I bought at Ladies Time Out...

Day #18... In my Bag... A BIG MESS!!! :-) 

Day #19... Where I slept... Not taken today, but it hasn't changed at all. :-) A bunk bed made by Dad, two quilts that Grandma H. made for me, and the first (and only) quit I sewed.  My stuffed horse, Bucky, is Sara's friend for cuddling! :-) 

Well there I am updated... Mixed up, late, but updated. :-) Tomorrow we head up to Nipawin for Hannah's grad. She'll be home for a day or so and then headed off to MB to work for Daniel's parents. 

Lots of fun going to happen and also some changes... I'm nervous about the changes. :-) Thank you all for the prayers! 

Days 12,13, and 14

So these got a little mixed up but...

Day 14, Flowers... I found some blooming flowers!!!  I was excited to find these!

A friend suggested that I take a picture of my dark side, meaning that life for me isn't always happy. Today I was sad because I found out that my heifer, Latte, wouldn't be calving this year. I was really excited about having at least one baby animal this year and looking forward to that was helping me not miss the fact that Fandango wouldn't be foaling. So when I found out about Latte I just felt like crying. I went out to where Fan died for the first time since I found her there. I did end up crying a bit, but then I walked around the pasture and ended up feeling much the better after crying then I did before hand. 

So here is day 12, Close Up. A reminder of Fan.... Her hoof.

Days 10 and 11

Day 10, Something I made.... Ellie mixed these up and I fried them. Cake doughnuts coated in sugar! They're really good with a cup of fresh milk! We're milking 3 cows right now! It's so nice to have milk again!

Day 11, Something fun. Mum reading the kids their bedtime story. Little house on the Prairies I think. 

I couldn't resist putting on a picture of the first calf from this year! He isn't named yet, but his mother's name it Fortune.

Days 8 and 9

Day # 8, Technology. Our internet motom and router. 

Day #9, Faceless Self portrait. I'm wearing a t-shirt promoting the college Hannah is going to. :-)

Something New!

Dad is building a new rustic entertainment centre! Right now he is in the process of putting on coats of tung oil to preserve it.

When I looked outside to see what my chances of getting a good picture today I knew I was in trouble! Not a cloud in sight! Thankfully by this afternoon these little wisps showed up. :-) I love the blue skies!

This is one of my favorite hats because it is representing the music camp I go to every year. You'll see me wearing this hat at work cause that's where I usually keep it. :-) Very uncreative picture I know, but hey! I filled out my tax return forms today! I have a head ache now. LOL! Crazy taxes eh?!
