My friend is hosting a concert in her house. Troy is an incredible musician! He taught at music camp last year, WOW, is all I can say! Michele asked me to spread the word. So if you're looking for something fun to do on the 1st (and 2nd) of June, and you love good music... Make your way to the big red house in Forget!

Music is what feelings sound like
Here's two totally different songs. I love both of them!
The first one is by Kelly Clarkson. This is just the first verse and chorus.
"Because Of You"
"one good thing about music,
when it hits you,
you feel no pain."
Bob Marley
Secondly is a
song written by Lynn DeShazo and Gary Sadler. I've sang this song a
couple times when leading worship at church. I love the words so much!
The chorus swells... it's just awesome!
We are a moment, You are forever
Lord of the Ages, God before time
We are a vapor, You are eternal
Love everlasting, reigning on high
Chorus:
Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain
Highest praises, honor and glory
Be unto Your name, be unto Your name
We are the broken, You are the healer
Jesus, Redeemer, mighty to save
You are the love song we'll sing forever
Bowing before You, blessing Your name
The first one is by Kelly Clarkson. This is just the first verse and chorus.
"Because Of You"
I will not make the same mistakes that you did
I will not let myself
Cause my heart so much misery
I will not break the way you did,
You fell so hard
I've learned the hard way
To never let it get that far
I will not let myself
Cause my heart so much misery
I will not break the way you did,
You fell so hard
I've learned the hard way
To never let it get that far
Chorus:
Because of you
I never stray too far from the sidewalk
Because of you
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt
Because of you
I find it hard to trust not only me, but everyone around me
Because of you
I am afraid
Because of you
I never stray too far from the sidewalk
Because of you
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt
Because of you
I find it hard to trust not only me, but everyone around me
Because of you
I am afraid
My favorite artist who sings this song is Ronan Parke.
"one good thing about music,
when it hits you,
you feel no pain."
Bob Marley
Be Unto Your Name
Lord of the Ages, God before time
We are a vapor, You are eternal
Love everlasting, reigning on high
Chorus:
Holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb Who was slain
Highest praises, honor and glory
Be unto Your name, be unto Your name
We are the broken, You are the healer
Jesus, Redeemer, mighty to save
You are the love song we'll sing forever
Bowing before You, blessing Your name
I don't know who sings this best, but if you search it on Youtube you're sure to find it!

Living life as it is
For those of you who aren't on Facebook, I got here to Whitebear safe and sound. :-) I have been enjoying hanging out with Naomi and Jesse. We went shopping in Regina (I got my wedding outfit!), worked on the deck, and today Naomi and I went in to Carlyle and did some shopping there. I got a pair of jeans and a couple of tops. It's so fun to be restocking and changing my style of clothes! Right now I'm listening to Naomi and some of her piano students doing lessons! Next fall Naomi is hoping that I'll be teaching guitar. I'm a little unsure about my ability to teach and also the fact that I'm not really good on guitar. I hope I can get some lessons sometime this year. Maybe with music camp and lessons I'll be feeling more confident about it. :-)
Anyways I am having a blast here! I am hope you all are doing well.

Truth Comes Out
This is one of my favorite songs of Corb Lund's. It's eerie, and it really catches your attention.

Yup!
These last two days have been busy with packing and sorting stuff (umm, why do I keep some of the stuff I do?). Today Ellie and I worked as we will be doing for the next three days. My last three days of work at Cool Springs Ranch (www.coolspringsranch.ca). I'm excited to be moving and starting a new job, but I am also sad to be leaving my work here. I have some great bosses!
I am excited to be heading down to Carlyle on the 19th to visit N&J for a week! I think we're going to hit Regina sometime in there so Naomi and I can do some clothes shopping for Hannah and Daniel's wedding. That should be lots of fun! I also have been told by a friend that I 'HAVE" to visit him. :-) So I'll be arranging a visit with my constant sidekick from camp, Remi M. Hopefully I'll get to play in a couple of jams too! On the 27th, Naomi's piano students are having a piano recital. I am looking forward to going to that!
On a sadder note, I'll probably be selling my horse and cow. :-( Just thinking about it makes me sad. I am trying to get a neighbor (Larry and Verena) to buy Coyote, because I know that he'll get treated well there. Latte, I'm not sure who I'll sell her to. Moving has it's pluses and minuses.
Some of the things I'm going to miss, (majorly) are:
Church
Youth
Riding over to Wolfmuellers
Coyote and Latte
The farm
Work at CSR
All my friends here
Oh yeah, and my family! :-)

Life is kinda like... Rushing!
Life is going to get really busy here in about a week! I am going to visit Naomi and Jesse in Carlyle on the 19th and bringing Naomi back on the 28th to help with wedding prep. Soon after the wedding I'll be moving down to Carlyle. I will be living with N&J for the first while anyways. As plans go I'll be working at Pharmasave with Naomi. When August rolls around I'll be where I love to to be most at that time of year! Music camp, rockin' it out for both weeks! Next summer I might be heading out to BC to intern at a ranch that raises and endurance races Akhal-Teke horses.
My Coyote
Three of the horses
One of the 13 lambs
Memories of a sweet horse. Fan's halter and lead.
Sara swinging!
I love Sara's eyes in this picture!
"This is how you do a girl push up"
My pretty sister! She's off to Bible college (NBC) this fall! Those boys better watch out! Three people from our youth group will be heading to NBC this fall. Ellie, Trisha F., and Jay S. Endeavour/Rockford invades again!

The last days....
Of the photo challenge. :-)
Day 27... After dark...
Day 28... Daily Routine... Some of supper dishes
Day 29... Purchased... A hand made birdhouse that I bought in Melville and haven't put out for use yet. :-)
Day 30... In Motion... The horses, feeling a bit frisky after I gave them some carrots.
And that's the last of the challenge. I couldn't resist sneaking in a picture of my 'little' heifer, Latte.
She's my special one. :-)
